Project overview
Kevlar Defense, a new cybersecurity company entering the European market, needed a professional website quickly to support their sales effort. We delivered a scalable WordPress website that provides structure and credibility, enabling Kevlar Defense to enter the market immediately with a solid digital foundation for further growth.
The challenge
Kevlar Defense was launching a new European operation but had no experience building a website. There were no clearly defined goals, no proposition, no structure and no marketing message. At the same time, there was time pressure: a professional website needed to go live quickly so that sales could begin and prospects had somewhere to land.
Our approach
Bringing structure to uncertainty
Although we were initially engaged as web developers, our role quickly expanded to broader guidance. We brought structure where it was lacking: in navigation, page architecture and priorities. By consistently reasoning back from what the target audience needed, we introduced direction into the process.
Wireframes as a guide for design and content
We translated the information needs of potential clients into clear wireframes for the key pages. These wireframes formed the blueprint for both design and content, and gave the external designer, who was responsible for the visual execution, a clear brief to work from.
Pragmatic optimisation of content and UX
The copy provided to us was not CRO-optimised. Within the constraints of the scope, we consistently advised on conciseness, readability and hierarchy. Without forcing the issue, but with clear suggestions, we improved the UX where possible and accepted where boundaries lay.
Implementation
With IGNITE, we took the following steps:
Navigation, wireframes and page architecture
Within the IGNITE package, we delivered the complete main structure of the website. We defined the navigation and designed wireframes for the key commercial pages.
Figma preview for visual consistency
To prevent unnecessary iteration and performance issues, we developed a Figma preview document. This allowed the product owner to test visuals within the content blocks independently, without placing heavy or unsuitable images directly into the live website.
Technical realisation and go-live
The website was built in WordPress, optimised for performance and responsiveness. Despite multiple parties being involved, the collaboration ran smoothly through an online project board with clearly assigned tasks and transparent progress tracking.
